Mastering RTSP/Onvif Integration with EasyCVR: Video Streaming & Data Saving Guide

EasyCVR offers RTSP/Onvif integration and can also connect devices using protocols like GB28181, Hikvision SDK, and Ehome. It supports H265 video stream encoding and decoding and includes features like video wall functionality, making it a comprehensive and mature video streaming solution.

EasyCVR can also be cascaded to the upper-level platform via the GB28181 protocol. This article discusses how EasyCVR uses the GB28181 protocol to cascade to an upper platform and the method of saving sent RTP stream data to a file using Wireshark.

1. Run the Wireshark software and select the correct network interface card (NIC).2. In the Wireshark interface filter selector, choose the RTP protocol, and the filtered result is shown below.

3. Right-click and select Follow Stream -> UDP Stream as shown in Figure 2.

4. The tracked stream may consist of data from multiple links. Pay attention to choosing the link data you need to save from the bottom-left corner of the figure. Select Raw as the data type to save, and choose a directory for saving.

At this point, the cascaded network transmission data has been saved as a file. If you encounter issues during the EasyCVR cascading process that need to be resolved by checking the flow data file, you can use this method to save the stream data to a file and then examine the file.
